Netflix accepts codes from physical cards, digital deliveries and certain retail receipts.
- Scratch the foil gently with a coin on a physical gift card.
- For a digital card, find the code in the delivery email.
- For a receipt-based card, look in the gift-card section.
- Never share the serial number or code except with the intended recipient.
Unused value vs. redeemed credit
Before redemption, the value remains attached to the gift-card code. After redemption, the value becomes account credit and is automatically used toward the Netflix subscription.
