Where to Find the Cineplex Card Number and PIN
Confirmed Cineplex physical gift cards use a 16-digit numeric card number and a separate 8-digit numeric PIN.
- On a physical card, find the 16-digit card number on the back.
- Reveal the protected area to locate the separate 8-digit PIN when present.
- For an eGift Card, open the original delivery email and locate the card number and PIN.
- Do not enter a receipt number, ticket-order number, Scene+ number, barcode-only value, or promotional coupon code.
Gift cards and promotional certificates differ
Standard Cineplex gift cards do not expire. Promotional coupons, certificates, or movie offers can have separate expiry dates and redemption conditions, so read the wording on the specific item.

The phone system rejects the card details
Re-enter the 16-digit card number and 8-digit PIN carefully. Make sure you are not entering a receipt, ticket-order, coupon, or Scene+ number.
The eGift Card email is missing
Check spam and junk folders and search for the original delivery message. Keep the purchase receipt or order confirmation when contacting support.
The card is damaged
Keep the card and proof of purchase. Cineplex’s terms say a damaged card may be replaced at Cineplex’s discretion.
The card is lost or stolen
Contact Cineplex promptly, but its terms state that a lost, stolen, or unauthorized-use card and its value are not normally replaceable or refundable.
