CANADA GIFT CARD BALANCE GUIDE
PlayStation Store gift cards do not use a separate public pre-redemption balance checker. Redeem a valid 12-digit Canadian voucher to the correct PlayStation account, then view the resulting wallet funds.
Do not redeem an unused Canadian PlayStation Store card before a separate eligibility review. Once redeemed, the value becomes wallet funds on the selected account and is generally non-transferable.
Enter the face value of a legitimate, unused Canadian PlayStation Store gift card or wallet-top-up voucher and preview a CAD payout range. Redeemed wallet funds are not eligible.
WALLET AND REDEMPTION
The gift-card value becomes wallet funds only after the voucher is redeemed to the correct PlayStation account.
CODE AND REGION DETAILS
The voucher code, account region and account type must be correct before wallet-top-up value can be redeemed.
Wallet-top-up vouchers generally need to be redeemed by the family manager rather than directly on a child account. The family manager can then set the child’s monthly spending limit.
COMMON PROBLEMS
Check the account, voucher region and retail activation before assuming the code has no value.
Review the transaction history for each relevant PlayStation account and confirm which account received the wallet funds.
A Canadian voucher must be redeemed on a Canadian PlayStation account. The account country or region cannot normally be changed after creation.
Some physical cards have no value until activated at the register. Contact the retailer and keep the purchase receipt available.
Contact the retailer when the code appears on a receipt. For another damaged voucher, contact PlayStation Support with the original card and proof of purchase.
NEED OFFICIAL ASSISTANCE?
Keep the original voucher, purchase receipt and photographs of both sides available when asking PlayStation to investigate a damaged, inactive or already-redeemed code.
